REPORT FRAUD

FRAUD CENTER

In our efforts to continue to keep your accounts secure, we are providing our members with an alert system to catch potential fraud. This system will monitor your debit and credit cards for potential fraud. As a reminder, TENCU will never ask members to provide their card numbers in a link or provide their PIN or password. If you have any questions about fraud notifications, please call one of the numbers below.

 

 

Here's How It Works:

 

When potential fraud is detected, you will receive an automatic email notification from TENCU, with the option to flag the transaction as fraud by responding Y or N.

 

One minute after the notification, you will receive a text alert with the Y or N option to flag the transaction as fraudulent.

 

If you receive no response five minutes after the text alert, you will receive automatic phone calls to confirm or deny if the transaction is fraudulent.

 

Remember – our messages sent to you will NEVER ask for your PIN or account number. 

 

 

Important Numbers

We recommend storing the following numbers in your phone for easy access.

Visa Transaction Assistance Line: (844)-468-3628 and press option 9. This is the number to call if your card is declined while you are attempting to make a purchase.

 

Lost/Stolen Card Line: (833)-933-1681 and press option 1. Call this number when your debit or credit card has been lost or stolen. Your card will be deactivated, and a new card will be sent to you.

 

 

EMV Chip and Contactless Technology

 

TENCU's Visa credit cards come with built-in EMV chip technology. EMV provides enhanced security when using your card both domestically and internationally. During a point-of-sale transaction using an EMV-enabled terminal, the chip and terminal communicate to approve the transaction. No personal data is stored by the merchant, which means there is no data for criminals to steal.
